Spielberger Organic Spelt Flour Type 630. Spelt has an aromatic, nutty taste and can be used like wheat when baking. In the Spielberger mill, the grain is milled in several steps to produce this versatile, light-coloured flour. Suitable for all light pastries with yeast, rolls, cakes and pizza dough.
Basic recipe: salty yeast dough
For ciabatta, white bread or pizza base for example
Ingredients: 1 kg Organic Spelt Flour Type 630, 20 g salt, 20 g yeast, approx. 700 ml lukewarm water
Preparation: Form a mould in the flour, crumble the yeast into it and mix with a little water and flour. Cover the pre-fermet and allow to rise for about 15 minutes. Then mix all the ingredients together and knead thoroughly. Allow to rise again for 30 minutes, then shape into the desired form (form a loaf or roll out on a baking tray) and allow to rise again for 10 minutes. Bake in the preheated oven - depending on the shape - for 35 to 50 minutes.

For me, there is no better spelt flour. Pours very finely when ground! Wonderful for all kinds of pastries, whether sponge cake or pizza! There is no other flour in my house!

Für mich gibt es kein besseres Dinkelmehl. Rieselt sehr fein gemahlen! Wunderbar für alle Sorten von Gebäck, egal ob Biskuit oder Pizza ! Es kommt mir kein anderes mehr ins Haus !

Spielberger's spelt flour type 630 is the slightly lighter version of spelt flour and looks very much like wheat flour. Its baking properties are very good, which is why I now mainly use spelt flour, as it is simply easier to digest. Whether for baking or for thickening sauces - it is the perfect helper in the kitchen. It may be a little more expensive than wheat flour, but the taste and baking properties make up for it. I can only recommend it to everyone.

Das Dinkelmehl Type 630 von Spielberger ist die etwas hellerer Variante von Dinkelmehl und ähnelt optisch sehr stark Weizenmehl. Seine Backeigenschaften sind sehr gut, deshalb verwende ich eigentlich überwiegend nur noch Dinkelmehl, da es einfach bekömmlicher ist. Ob zum Backen oder zum Binden von Soßen - es ist der perfekte Helfer in der Küche. Preislich ist es vielleicht etwas teurer als Weizenmehl, aber der Geschmack und die Backeigenschaften machen das wieder wett. Ich kann es wirklich nur jedem empfehlen.
