Spielberger Baking Mix Organic Wholegrain Oat Bread, gluten free. With this baking mix, anyone can quickly bake a delicious gluten free bread. Oats are a naturally gluten free grain and a real superfood. Tender, gluten free oat flakes are used for the baking mixture. You will also need dry yeast and frying oil.

Preparation:

Add:

1 packet dry yeast, 35 ml frying oil, 480 ml water.

Preparation time: approx. 10 min

Proofing time: 30 min

Baking time: approx. 55 min

Preparation: Add the dry yeast to the baking mixture in a bowl and mix well. Add water and oil and knead everything with a mixer with dough hook to a very sticky, soft dough.

Leave the dough to rise and swell in a warm place for approx. 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 200 °C top/bottom heat.

Oil a loaf tin (25 x 11 cm) and pour in the dough. Smooth the surface with wet hands and brush with oil.

Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes on the middle shelf. Fill a small ovenproof bowl with hot water and place at the bottom of the oven. After 10 minutes of baking, reduce the temperature to 180 °C.

The bread is ready when it sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom of the baking tin. Remove the finished bread immediately from the baking tin and leave to cool on a rack.

Also works out in the baking machine.

Variations:

Sprinkle the bread with gluten free oat flakes or seeds before baking.
Knead up to 4 tablespoons of seeds into the ready-mixed bread dough.
