Sonnentor Organic Roast Seasoning Aunt Mizzi. This organic seasoning mix in a small size to become familiar with enchants with its full-flavoured scent of caraway, garlic, marjoram and others. The mixed spices give your Sunday roast the right flavour, but also rounds off meat sauces and other stews. It is best to rub the roast with the spice mixture and allow to stew on the cooker.

Recipe tip: Roast beef with spelt risotto

Ingredients for 4 persons

1 kg sirloin
3 tbsp butter
salt and pepper
3 tsp Sonnentor Tante Mizzis Bratengewürz
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
6 dried dates
6 dried plums
1/8 l red wine

Side dish:

Spelt rice
1 red onion
1/2 l beetroot juice
½ l clear vegetable soup
3 tbsp olive oil, salt
50 g parmesan cheese grated
3 tsp curls of butter
½ l whipped cream
Sonnentor Alles Liebe Gewürz-Blüten-Mischung

Preparation:

1. Rub the roast beef well with Sonnentor Tante Mizzis Bratengewürz, add some salt and pepper, spread with mustard and fry in a pan with butter. Then put the meat in a roasting pan, pour water with the ground, add the dates and plums and pour the wine over the ingredients.

2. Put the roasting pan in the oven at 100 °C for approx. 1½ hours. Take it out after the cooking time and allow to rest in a foil; in the meantime, puree the meat stock finely with the hand blender.

Spelt risotto:

1. Peel and finely chop the onion and fry in olive oil; Add the spelt rice and fry briefly, then pour the vegetable soup over the rice. Stir in salt and pepper well and pour the beetroot juice after about 20 minutes. Whip the cream until stiff and grate the parmesan.

2. When the spelt is soft, fold in the whipped cream, parmesan cheese and 1 teaspoon of Sonnentor Alles Liebe Gewürz-Blüten-Mischung. Arrange risotto on a plate and additionally sprinkle with some organic blossom spice blend; Meat on top and pour the sauce over it.
