Bioenergie Black Salt Kala Namak. Popular in vegan cuisine, this salt with its egg-like flavour is a speciality of Indian and Ayurvedic cuisine. The Hindi name 'Kala Namak' means black salt. Salsola stocksii (from wild growth) is boiled with crystal salt to produce it. This then takes on the taste and colour. Kala Namak salt owes its unmistakable, intense flavour and aroma of boiled eggs to the sulphur compounds contained in the salt. Free from artificial flavourings.
