Bauck Organic Flatbread Baking Mix. The baking mix for flatbread is as sophisticated as it is delicious and is even gluten-free. Whether as a side dish for a picnic and party buffet or as a filled meal with fresh salad, crispy falafel balls and fresh vegetables.

Preparation:

Add these ingredients: 1 sachet of dry yeast, 400 ml lukewarm water, some gluten-free flour (e.g. rice flour) for moulding and oil for coating.

To sprinkle: sesame seeds and black cumin.

Place the baking mix in a bowl and mix with the dry yeast, then add the water. Mix with a hand mixer (dough hook) to form a smooth dough.
Cover the dough and leave to rise in a warm place for 30 minutes. Then shape the dough into 4-6 flat cakes of the same size and roll out to a thickness of approx. 1 cm.
Place the flatbreads on a baking tray lined with baking paper, cover and leave to rise in a warm place for a further 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 230 °C (top/bottom heat) and brush the flatbreads with a little oil. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and black cumin as desired.
Place the baking tray in the preheated oven at medium height and bake for approx. 25 minutes. Allow the flatbreads to cool well before eating

To fill:
Cut in half and fill as desired, for example with yoghurt sauce, salad, vegetables and falafel.
