: Description:

Spielberger Organic Spelt Spaetzle Flour. For this organic spaetzle flour groats and spelt flour type 630 are mixed. Due to its fine-grained structure, this flour is particularly swellable and is very well suited for spaetzle and pasta doughs. Also suited for strudel dough and leavened dough.
Basic recipe: Swabian spaetzle
Ingredients per 100 g Organic Spelt Spaetzle Flour: 1 egg, a little salt and about 40-50 ml of water
Preparation: Mix all the ingredients and stir vigorously until the dough begins to form bubbles. Bring plenty of salted water to the boil in a large pot. Scrape the dough in portions from the spaetzle board or press it through a spaetzle press. The spaetzle are cooked when they rise to the surface. Remove the spaetzle with a skimmer and allow to drain.
