Spielberger Organic Rye Flour Type 1150. Rye has a strong and spicy taste. In the Spielberger mill, the grain is ground in several steps to this fine flour. Rye flour type 1150 can be used with sourdough to bake strong breads or in flour mixtures for a savoury taste.
Basic recipe: Wheat and rye bread
Ingredients: 600 g Organic Wheat Flour Type 1050, 400 g Organic Rye Flour Type 1150, 20 g salt, 20 g yeast, 650 ml lukewarm water, 75 g sourdough fresh or 15 g dry one.
Preparation: Mix both types of flour with salt. Mix the yeast in a little lukewarm water, add to the flour with the lukewarm sourdough and the remaining water. Knead into a smooth dough and leave covered in a warm place to rise for approx. 30 minutes. Knead the dough again and add some flour if necessary. Form two long loaves and leave to rise on the baking tray for another 15-20 min. Bake in the oven preheated to 230°C for 10 min, then turn the temperature down to 200°C and bake for another 40-45 min.

Spielberger flours and grains are simply better than "no name" products - that's my opinion. And then Demeter quality. I'm happy to pay a few cents more for that. We bake 90% of our bread at home. Great thing :)

Spielberger Mehle und Getreide sind einfach besser als "No Name" Produkte - ist meine Meinung. Und dann noch Demeter Qualität. Dafür zahle ich gerne ein paar Cent mehr. Bei uns wird 90 % des Brotes im Haushalt gebacken. Tolle Sache :)
