BioGourmet Trenette. BioGourmet Trenette al bronzo are a piece of Ligurian culinary culture. The trenette are made from durum wheat semolina and pure spring water, pressed through bronze moulds and then carefully dried. This traditional processing emphasises the wonderfully fresh flavour and ensures a rough surface that absorbs sauces perfectly. Although trenette are related to linguine, they are slightly flatter and acquire their own U-shaped characteristic during the drying process - a sign of genuine craftsmanship and a passion for pasta. They are served around Genoa with a pesto genovese, but also rustic with green beans and potatoes. However, they are also an excellent accompaniment to seafood or vegetable sauces.
