Antersdorfer Mühle Organic Rye Flour Whole Grain. Rye is frugal in cultivation. It also thrives on poor or moist soils and in cold climates. For wholemeal flour, the whole grain is milled, including its outer layer. This preserves valuable fibre, minerals and vitamins. This flour is suitable for the production of natural sourdoughs and other strong, spicy baked goods.
Recipe: Apple cinnamon waffles for 1 portion
- 2 eggs
- 4 tablespoons wholemeal rye flour
- 1 apple
- Cinnamon
Separate the eggs. Mix the egg yolks with 3 tbsp water, 4 tbsp wholemeal rye flour and cinnamon. Core the apple and cut into small pieces. Beat the egg whites until stiff and carefully fold into the egg yolk-flour mixture, then add the small apple pieces and bake the batter in the waffle iron until crispy.
