Agava Organic Rye Sour Dough Extract: Unit: 30 g

For two loaves of bread

: Description:

Karin Lang Agava Organic Rye Sour Dough Extract. Dried. Refines your home-baked bread with the strong and aromatic hearty taste of rye. Sufficient for 2 loaves. To refine the breads, various nuts, seeds or kernels, but also bread spices can be added.
For 2 loaves please add: 
  • 1 kg flour (your choice) 
  • 18 g baker's yeast
  • 750 ml water 
  • 2 tsp salt
Preparation: 
  1. Mix all the ingredients together. 
  2. Knead the dough for 6 minutes. 
  3. Cover the dough and let it rest in a warm place for 45 minutes. 
  4. Shape the dough, cover with flour (to make it less sticky) and place in a mould. 
  5. Leave the dough to rest for 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees top/bottom heat; after placing the loaves in the oven, put 40 ml of water in a bowl on the lowest shelf; leave the bread to bake for 60 minutes. 
  7. Leave the bread to cool.
