Schär Mix It Rustico Dark Organic Bread Mixture, gluten free, 1 kg: Unit: 1 kg

Ingredients: 500g Mix It Dark Rustico, 6 g oil, 10 g dry yeast or 12 g fresh yeast, 630 ml water, 8 g salt.

Preparation: Put the flour in a bowl. Mix the flour with the dry yeast. If you use fresh yeast, dissolve it in lukewarm water (30° C) and pour it into the flour. Add the salt and knead for about 2 minutes with a dough hook on low speed. Then add the oil while kneading, increase the speed and knead for another 4-5 minutes. Put the dough into a greased and floured loaf tin and smooth it out. Cover the loaf tin with a damp cloth (or cling film) and leave to rise in a warm place for about 30-45 minutes (until doubled in volume). To give the crust a nicer colour, brush with sunflower oil after rising. Meanwhile, place an ovenproof dish with water in the bottom of the oven and preheat to 190º C (top and bottom heat). Bake for 60 minutes. Remove the bread, turn it out of the tin and cut it only when it has cooled well. Store the bread in the refrigerator.

The Dark Loaf recipe also works with the breadmaker. Select a programme that takes about 2 to 2.5 hours. Pay attention to the maximum capacity of your baking machine.
