Bauck Organic Cheese Cream Tart Baking Mixture. The cake tastes fresh and fruity at the same time. Depending on your taste, you can vary the fruits and the juice for the fruit glaze, bake the cake base or leave it unbaked, create delicious desserts or still develop your own ideas with this cake mix.
For 1 springform pan (ø 25 cm). Add the following ingredients:
- For the cake base: 70 g soft butter
- For the cream: 600 ml cream, 500 g low-fat curd
- For the fruit glaze: 400 ml fruit juice
- Optional: 1 tin of mandarins or a small tin of peaches.
- Cover a springform pan (ø 25 cm) with baking paper. If preparing with fruit, drain well. Collect the juice and use it for the fruit topping.
- Knead the butter or margarine with the mixture for the base with your hands until you have a firm dough, similar to biscuit dough. (This requires some patience.) Pour the dough into the springform pan and press down evenly with the help of a tablespoon or your hands to form a thin, smooth cake base. Do you prefer a biscuit-crispy base? Then you can bake it in the pan for approx. 13 minutes at 180 °C (preheated, top / bottom heat). Then leave to cool.
- For the cream topping, add the liquid cream, curd and cream mixture in a large, tall mixing bowl (be careful as the mixture may splatter.). Mix with a hand mixer until the topping has a creamy consistency.
- Optionally, spread the fruit over the base. Then pour the cream into the pan and spread evenly. Chill until the fruit topping is ready.
- In a saucepan, whisk together the fruit juice and the mixture for the fruit topping. Bring to the boil, stirring constantly. Remove from the stove as soon as the fruit mixture has thickened. Spread quickly and evenly over the cream. Spread carefully.
- Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours. Before serving, loosen and remove the springform rim with the help of a knife. Tip: To cut the cake pieces well, dip the knife in hot water in between.
Vegan preparation
Add the following ingredients:
- For the cake base: 70 g soft margarine
- For the cream: 300 g vegan cream cheese, 400 g vegan yoghurt
- For the fruit glaze: 400 ml fruit juice
- Optional: 1 tin of mandarins or a small tin of peaches.
For the vegan preparation, first mix the vegan cream cheese and yoghurt and then add the cream mixture. The other steps are the same as above.
