Urtekram Men

:

How do you feel when you are asked to enter the stage at an awards ceremony? Can you enjoy the moment, or is this much attention rather unpleasant for you? Whether one feels invincible or insecure is almost always visible to others. Even if you try not to show it; one's own body language is difficult to trick. Self-confident people stand upright and keep their heads up. Their stance is wide and their gestures are prominent: they take up more space. Anyone who has lost a competition or has just been reprimanded by one's boss, is automatically belittling oneself (usually unconsciously). Head and shoulders hang down, the gestures become reserved and slow. How we feel has a direct impact on our posture. Interestingly, this works even the other way round. Experiments conducted in 2016 at the CMFRI Research Institute in Kochi, India, show that self-esteem decreased among subjects who spent a lot of time in a hunched position. However, this knowledge does not seem to be very new, because yoga masters already knew about this connection more than 2,000 years ago. So it is no coincidence that many yoga exercises are about standing up consciously and getting a firm stance.

The role of posture and body language is also a favourite subject of many communication trainers. Today, many seminars teach that communication is 55% non-verbal (posture, gestures, facial expressions), 38% para-verbal (pitch, volume, dialect) and only 7% verbal (with words). This thesis, which is still widespread, makes it almost irrelevant what is said. You only have to speak with a firm voice and demonstrate self-confidence through good posture. Critics, however, raise doubts. What sense should a presentation make if it is not convincing with its content? Nevertheless, the importance of body language should not be underestimated. On a first date, a good posture is just as beneficial as in a job interview.

An upright posture signals competence and self-confidence. We are thus more attractive and trustworthy to our environment. In almost all cultures, an upright posture is also considered a sign of dignity and grace. In monarchies, it was part of the training program of royal offsprings in many places. In order to maintain an upright position in all situations, the young heirs to the throne had to train while balancing a thick book on their heads. This method is still used by models and theatre actors until today. However, we only benefit from the positive effect of a straight stance if it looks natural. Anyone who cramps up to stand straight looks anything but self-confident.

Two things are mainly responsible for the unfavorable posture of many men today. First, sitting for hours in a crooked posture and secondly, hanging your head and shoulders while looking at your smartphone, notebook etc. Here you have to counteract, because a good posture can be practiced. A man standing straight is not afraid to show himself. And this demonstration of self-confidence makes him more attractive immediately. A well-groomed appearance increases this effect even more. You don't need a large cosmetic arsenal for this, but only a few well-coordinated care products. Like the Men care series, which Urtekram has developed especially for the needs of men.

During your morning shower, the 2-in-1 shower gel leaves you feeling fresh from head to toe. The gel facial toner clarifies the skin, reduces impurities and soothes irritated areas. The carefully balanced combination of active ingredients supports the skin's natural moisture balance and prepares it for shaving. The moisturising face cream leaves the skin feeling pleasantly fresh. The cream deodorant roll-on contains an effective combination of zinc salts and oak extract, which counteracts unwanted body odour. Thanks to organic aloe vera, it is gentle on the sensitive skin under the armpits. The Urtekram Men care range pampers men with effective care and a fresh, masculine fragrance.
