Spielberger Organic Wholemeal Spelt Flakes fine-grained. In Demeter quality. For the flakes the whole grain is crushed, steamed and then rolled into a fine flake. Thus, all ingredients of the full grain remain.
Recipe: Spelt flake patties
3/4 l vegetable broth, 200 g Organic Spelt Flakes Small Leaf, 150 g mushrooms, 40 g butter, 1 bunch parsley, 1 bunch chives, 1 tbsp spelt flour, 1 onion, 1 egg, salt, white pepper
Preparation: Bring the vegetable stock to a boil. Add the spelt flakes and allow to simmer to get a thick porridge. Stir occasionally. Season with salt and pepper. Wash and dry the parsley and chives, peel the onions and brush the mushrooms. Chop finely and stir in the flour and egg in the spelt flakes. Allow to cool down. Form the flat patties (about 6 cm in diameter) with moistened hands and fry the patties until golden brown on each side.
