BioGourmet Organic Verjus. Simply put, verjus is the juice from green pressed grapes, i.e. grapes that have been harvested unripe. The word is derived from the French "vert" (green) and "jus" (juice). Its aroma and flavour is reminiscent of a whole basket of fresh fruit: lychee, passion fruit, kiwi, blackberry, peach and many more. When cooked, it enhances the flavour of the other ingredients thanks to the tartaric acids it contains. Mixed with mineral water, it produces a tangy, fruity drink.
