Bauck Organic Mole Cake Baking Mixture: Unit: 350 g

Bauck Organic Mole Cake Baking Mixture. The form of this cake might be reminiscent of a molehill, a mound, a cupola or whatever you associate the cake with. However, the main thing is that this delicious chocolate cake tastes as good as it looks and is quick to prepare. You can also make it as a vegan version.
For 1 springform pan (ø 25 cm). Add the following ingredients:
  • For the cake base: 2 eggs, 75 g soft butter, 75 ml milk
  • For the cream: 600 ml cream, 100 ml milk
  • Additionally as fruit for the filling: for example 400 g strawberries or 3 bananas.
  1. Preheat the oven to 175 °C (top/bottom heat) and cover a springform pan (ø 25 cm) with baking paper.
  2. Add the baking mixture for the dough into a bowl. Add the eggs, butter and milk and beat with a hand mixer until smooth. Pour the batter into the springform pan, smooth it out and place the pan in the preheated oven a on medium-high rack. Bake for approx. 25 minutes. Leave the cake to cool completely.
  3. Remove the baking paper and place the base on a cake plate, then scoop out the cake approx. 0.5 - 1 cm with a spoon, leaving a 1-2 cm border. Coarsely crumble the removed pastry in a bowl and set aside. Cover the hollowed-out cake base with the desired fruit, for example strawberries or bananas (halved). 
  4. For the cream, add the liquid cream and milk in a large, tall mixing bowl (be careful as the mixture may splatter) and mix with a hand mixer briefly on the lowest speed, then on the highest. Slowly pour in the mixture for the topping. When the cream has a spreadable consistency, it is ready. 
  5. Spread the cream like a mound on the fruit-covered base. Cover the mound of cream with the crumbs set aside. Press the crumbs down lightly. 
  6. Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours before serving.
Tip: The cake pieces are easier to cut if you dip the knife in hot water beforehand.
 
Vegan preparation
Add the following ingredients:
  • For the cake base: 150 ripe, mashed banana, 50 soft margarine, 75 ml vegetable drink
  • For the cream: 500 vegetable yoghurt, 150 vegan cream cheese
  • Additionally as fruit for the filling: for example 400 g strawberries or 3 bananas.
For the vegan preparation, mix the baking mix for the dough with banana, margarine and vegetable drink. Mix the mixture for the cream with vegan yoghurt and cream cheese. The other steps are the same as above.
