Application:
Suggested recipe for brown bread (for 2 loaf tins): Mix 500 g wheat and 500 g rye groats with 1 litre buttermilk and leave to swell overnight in a cool place. Knead 500 g wheat flour type 1050, 200 g beet syrup, 2 packets of yeast and 1½ tbsp salt with the swollen mixture. Pour into two loaf pans and bake at 150°C for 2½ hours.
