Greece! Our favourite travel destination in Europe, as it always gives us a great attitude to life and we simply love Greek food. We have therefore already tried a few olives and were surprised at how different the black Amfissa Aceto olives from Vita Verde taste. What many people don't (yet) know: Commercially available black olives are actually green olives that are coloured black. Olives turn black naturally if they are given enough time to ripen. Vita Verde olives are harvested later, in the first winter months - and you can taste and see that! We were not only surprised by their fruity, slightly bitter flavour, but also by their appearance: the olives are slightly smaller and shrivelled up in a cuddly way, despite still containing a stone. The better-known variety of Kalamata olives is somewhat larger (and more familiar). Aceto olives are considered raw food, as they are usually processed at temperatures below 42°C. They therefore still contain many unsaturated fatty acids and nutrients. This new experience definitely makes us want to try more of the brand's products.

Griechenland!
