Bauck Organic Oat Baguette Baking Mix. The oat baguette has a mild flavour and is a classic, crispy side dish for a picnic, a cosy dinner or a barbecue with family and friends.

Preparation (for 2 baguettes):

Add the following ingredients: 1 sachet of dry yeast, 425 ml lukewarm water, 2 tbsp neutral oil (e.g. sunflower oil), some gluten-free flour for moulding.

Mix the contents of the packet, yeast, lukewarm water and oil briefly with a dough hook to form a smooth dough. Cover the dough and leave in a warm place for 30 minutes.
Dust the work surface with gluten-free flour. Divide the dough into two equal pieces and shape into two baguettes (approx. 35 cm long) on the floured work surface. Then place on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Cover the baguettes and leave to rise for a further 30 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 230 °C (top/bottom heat).
Cut the baguettes 3 times lengthways and 2 cm deep. Then bake for 40 minutes in the middle of the oven.

Tip: Tastes best lukewarm.
