: Description:

Vitavegan Baking Soda. Natron neutralises acids and alkalizes mildly. A universal helper for kitchen and household. Suitable for baking and cooking. Sodium bicarbonate can be used as a leavening agent for muffins, biscuits and other baked goods.
Usage:
Baking: Sodium bicarbonate as a raising agent for muffins, biscuits, etc.
Fruits: Excess acid is neutralised by adding approx. 1/2 tsp (3 g) sodium bicarbonate to 1 kg of fruit.
Vegetables: Hard fibrous parts of plants, e.g. pulses, are broken down by adding 1 tsp (6 g) of baking soda to 1 l of cooking water.
Coffee and tea: Add 1 pinch of baking soda to coffee or tea water for soft water.
Detergents and cleaning agents: Ceramics and fittings become shiny clean, curtains white.
