Spielberger Organic Wheat Flour Type 405. The flour is produced at the Spielberger mill, made from wheat from biodynamic farming. The grain is milled in several steps to produce this particularly light flour. The wheat flour 405 has very good baking properties and is suitable for fine pastries such as waffles, fine cakes, pies and biscuits. It is also suitable for thickening sauces.
Recipe: Waffles
Ingredients: 150g butter, 150g sugar, 1 tsp vanilla sugar, 4 eggs, 250g flour, 1/4 l milk
Preparation: Beat butter and sugar until frothy, add vanilla sugar and egg yolks. Stir in the flour and milk. Finally, fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites and bake the batter in the waffle iron in single portions.
