: Review date:The pack size is easily enough for a large portion and is therefore always welcome in our two-person household, as we can usually cook ahead for at least another day. When cooked properly with a little practice, the consistency is reminiscent of beef and is therefore also suitable for use in dishes where beef is normally used: goulash, stir-fries and soups. The flavour of these unseasoned cubes blends in well with the spices used, but the cubes are particularly spicy and hearty. We are enthusiastic repeat buyers of Govinda jackfruit and will remain so for a long time to come. Thank you very much.
Die Packungsgröße reicht locker für eine große Portion und ist somit immer gern in unserem 2-Personen-Haushalt gesehen, da wir hiermit meist für mindestens noch einen Tag vorkochen können. Die Konsistenz erinnert, nach richtiger Zubereitung mit ein bisschen Übung, an Rindfleisch und passt somit auch da hin, wo solches normalerweise zum Einsatz kommt: Gulasch, Pfannengericht, Suppe. Geschmacklich passen sich diese ungewürzten Würfel gut den verwendeten Gewürzen an, vor allem würzig und deftig trumpfen die Würfel aber wirklich "einen auf". Wir sind begeisterte Immerwieder-Käufer der Govinda Jackfrucht und werden das auch noch eine lange Zeit bleiben. Vielen Dank.

: Review date:The flesh has a wonderful consistency and flavour and, in a kind of goulash, looks very much like "real" meat. Since I made goulash with it, I haven't tried the enclosed seasoning mix yet, so unfortunately I can't say anything about it yet. I give it 5/5 for goulash, which is exactly what it was recommended for, and I am completely satisfied with it. The mixture will be used somewhere else at some point.
Das Fruchtfleisch ist wunderbar in Konsistenz, Geschmack und wird in einer Art Gulasch "echtem" Fleisch zum verwechseln ähnlich. Da ich Gulasch draus gemacht habe, habe ich die beigelegte Würzmischung noch nicht probiert, kann zu dieser also leider noch nichts sagen. Ich vergebe 5/5 als Gulasch, genau dafür wurde es mir empfohlen und damit bin ich auch vollstens zufrieden. Die Mischung kommt irgendwann mal woanders ran.

Consistency: The flesh is indeed fibrous, like meat, but when the cubes are fried well (which is what you are supposed to do), the fibrousness is lost and the consistency is like vegetables: tender, soft.
Geschmack: ungewöhnlich, gewöhnungsbedürftig. Nicht ganz mein Ding, vor allem die Gewürzmischung.
Konsistenz: Das Fruchtfleisch ist tatsächlich faserig so wie Fleisch, aber wenn die Würfel gut durch gebraten werden (was man ja machen soll), geht das faserige verloren und die Konsistenz ist wie bei Gemüse gewohnt: zart, weich.

: Review date:Govinda Jack's fruit cubes don't quite meet my expectations, tastes too neutral to me, despite the spice mix added. The processing and preparation of the Govinda Jack fruit cubes and spices is very clean and super well prepared. It is certainly good to use as a meat substitute, but I would add my own spices or fruit to refine the taste. Or, as in the recipe booklet, make a kind of meat patty with bread and garnishes and then fry it in the pan.
Govinda Jack's Fruchtfleisch Würfel entspricht nicht ganz meinen Erwartungen, schmeckt mir zu neutral, trotz beigefügter Gewürzmischung. Wobei die Abwicklung und Aufbereitung der Govinda Jackfrucht-Würfel u. Gewürze sehr sauber und super gut vorbereitet ist. Als Fleischersatz sicher gut zu verwenden, ich würde dann eigene Gewürze oder Obstanteile mit dazugeben, um das Ganze geschmacklich etwas zu verfeinern. Oder wie in dem Rezeptheft dabei, so eine Art Fleischpflanzerl draus zu machen mit Semmel u Beilagen und dann das i.d. Pfanne rausbraten.
