For all those who don't yet know what to do with azuki beans: they originate from Japan and are still quite little known in our latitudes. In the Far East, they are even used for desserts. At home, however, they are more likely to be added to stews or salads. Adukis have a soft reddish skin, are white inside and are quite small for beans. Their taste is slightly sweet. In addition, the beans contain a lot of protein and are easier to digest in comparison. We like them very much. That's why we include them in our dishes every now and then.
