Spielberger Organic Spelt Bulgur. For spelt bulgur, the whole spelt grain is gently broken down through water and heat. The subsequent kilning process allows the grain to fully develop its atypical flavour before it is then coarsely crushed in the mill. Use spelt bulgur for quick cooking as a side dish, for salads or patties.
Recipe: Bulgur salad
Prepare 250 g spelt bulgur according to the basic recipe. Chop ½ red and ½ yellow pepper, 1 cucumber, 2 tomatoes, ½ onion and mix into the bulgur. Season with vinegar, oil, salt, pepper, fresh herbs and let rest for a while.

Basic recipe: Pour 1 ½ times the amount of water over the spelt bulgur, salt lightly and bring to the boil. Leave to swell at a very low heat for approx. 10 minutes.
