: Description:
- Mix half a cube of yeast in 280 ml lukewarm water and leave to rise for approx. 2 minutes.
- Knead in the baking mixture (at least 4 minutes).
- Leave to rise in a warm place for at least 30 minutes.
- Then knead the dough again and place in a greased, 20 cm long loaf tin.
- Leave to rise again until the dough swells over the edge of the tin.
- Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 220 °C fan oven.
- Bake the bread on the centre rack of the oven in the loaf tin for approx. 45 minutes at 180 °C.
- Turn the bread out of the tin and leave to cool on a wire rack.
