Bauck Mühle Veggie Mix Kofte Couscous. The vegan ready-made mix for finger food ‘cig köfte style’, based on corn and rice, only needs water, lemon juice and oil and can then be used as köfte on a plate, on a wrap or as a spread. The pack is sufficient for 10-12 köfte, which do not need to be fried.
Preparation for 10-12 Köfte:
You then only need:
| 200 ml | boiling water |
| 2 tbsp | lemon juice |
| 2 tbsp | sunflower or rapeseed oil |
Optional: salad leaves, pomegranate syrup, fresh herbs
It's that simple:
- Pour the mix into a bowl with boiling water, add the oil and lemon juice and mix well. Leave to soak for 10 minutes. Then stir well again
- For the typical köfte shape, form a heaped tablespoon of the mixture into a roll in your moistened hand. Then squeeze your hand lightly so that the imprint of your fingers is recognisable. Moisten your hands again and shape the next kofta. Refrigerate until ready to serve and eat on the same day.
Serving tip:
Drape each couscous kofta on a lettuce leaf and garnish with fresh herbs, lemon slices and pomegranate syrup.
