Pharmos Natur for Men

:

How often and at what age do men wear a beard? Not only at the end of puberty many men want to reinvent themselves. This transformation often is underlined with a new outer appearance. The result, however, is usually far less daring than the beard-wearer believes. Nevertheless, there is hardly any (sub) culture that has not created a special beard fashion over time. Old photos, therefore, can often be dated with the help of the depicted beards. The amount of facial hair that men are able to wear today depends on the workplace but, above all, on the partner. Only every tenth woman does not care whether her partner has a beard or not. In a recent survey, 20% of the surveyed women wanted clean-shaven men. About half of the ladies also find three-day stubble attractive. 10% enjoy a full beard but for exactly the same amount of women it is an absolute passion killer. Less than 1% are excited about extravagant beard creations.

In many cultures of ancient times, beards were an indispensable status symbol. A beard represented maturity, potency and wisdom. Also, it distanced the beard-wearer from the still immature (and beardless) boys. In ancient Greece, therefore, every man had a full beard. It was only cut off as a sign of great mourning or as a punishment for particularly dishonorable offenses. In the time period of classical Greece (ca. 500-323 BC), the so-called „strategist's beard“ emerged. This was a short full beard that could be worn under a helmet and would not be in the way during combat. You can still admire it today on countless statues and vases. Alexander the Great did not have a beard when he took power in Greece. The Greek upper class then also began to shave themselves according to Macedonian standards. Only the philosophers usually kept their beards. The Romans later took over much of the Greeks in terms of body care. Next to baths and massages this also included shaving.

In the heyday of the Roman Empire most of the citizens were shaved. Even most emperors had no beards. Senators, generals, and other important figures followed the Emperor's example and shaved. And because they were imitated by their subordinates, they too were shaved. If, on the other hand, a bearded Emperor, like Marcus Aurelius, was in power, it did not take long until even simple legionaries wore a beard again. On old Roman coins the image of the current Emperor was stamped. It is possible to guess which shaving habits there were during the Emperor's term simply by looking if he is depicted with or without a beard. There no longer are emperors in Europe, and most men are no longer following politicians when it comes to their style. Thus, today almost all beard varieties exist side by side. Only one thing has not changed: the strains for the facial skin when shaving. Especially old electric razors stress the skin. But even the most careful wet shave is not that gentle - after all, a steel blade is pulled through the face. Shaving foam and chemical care products often irritate the skin even more. The result: the stubbles are gone, but instead there is redness in the face. In order for the exposed facial skin to look well after shaving, you should treat it as naturally as possible. The active ingredients of aloe vera are particularly beneficial for stressed skin.

The exclusive Pharmos Natur for Men range is specifically designed to meet the needs of normal and sensitive men's skin. Pharmos Natur only uses pure aloe vera juice instead of water for the nourishing trio. The aloe vera juice is combined with other valuable ingredients. The Cleansing & Shaving Gel cleans the facial skin particularly gently and can also be used as a shaving gel due to its mildly foaming texture. The fresh scent of mint is harmonizing and invigorating. After cleansing, the Effect Serum with cranberry, grape seed oil and natural hyaluron provides an extra-portion of moisture for the facial skin. The serum is absorbed quickly and gives a visibly relaxed skin feeling. The gentle Body & Power Lotion with frankincense and magnolia gives the body new energy after showering.
