ErdmannHAUSER Organic Golden Millet. Millet is one of the oldest cereals in the world and originally comes from Asia and East Africa. It is one of the so-called husked cereals, whose grain is surrounded by a hard and indigestible husk. This husk is gently peeled off for ErdmannHAUSER golden millet.
With its mild, nutty flavour and slightly grainy consistency, golden millet goes wonderfully with many savoury and sweet dishes. It is popular for use in porridges and casseroles, for example. Golden millet is also fantastic as a side dish and bread ingredient as well as for patties, salads, vegetable stir-fries and fillings.

Application:

Wash the golden millet in lukewarm water, bring to the boil in about twice the amount of liquid (e.g. water or vegetable stock), cook for approx. 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then leave to soak for approx. 10 minutes.
