BioVegan Kalorienarme Geliersüße 4:1. Perfect for the breakfast table to add fruity flavor to yoghurt, shakes or desserts. The gelling sweetener based on organic erythritol is almost free of sugar and calories and can be used in a ratio of 4 to 1. With one pack (200 g) you can process 800 g of fruit into a naturally fruity spread. Low-calorie gelling made easy!

Preparation:

Place a plate in the freezer for the gelling test.
Wash the fruit thoroughly, drain, deseed if necessary and cut into small pieces.
Boil mason jars and lids.

Preparation

Put the contents of the bag and the prepared fruit in a saucepan.
Mix everything and bring to a boil while stirring.
Cook for 4 minutes (cooking time does not begin until the entire mixture is bubbly).
Test the gel: Take a tablespoon of the hot fruit mixture and put it on the frozen plate. let it cool down If the mass is not yet firm enough, let the mixture cook down a little longer. Then repeat the gelling test.
Pour the boiling hot mixture into small, sterile jars up to just below the brim, close tightly and place on the lid for 5 minutes.

Important information for perfect success:

Suitable for fruit spreads with solid fruit components - not for jellies.
Work particularly clean due to the lower preservation compared to jams with normal sugar content. Work objects as well as lids and glasses must therefore be boiled out.
Use the entire pack at once to maintain the optimal mix. If the packaging is opened, it must be shaken well before use.- Only use a maximum of 2 bags per cooking process. Only fill the saucepan half full.- Always carry out the gelling test, as the result can differ depending on the pot, stove, etc.
Store opened jars in the refrigerator and use within a few days.
The organic erythritol can crystallize in opened jars after a few days. However, this is not a sign of spoilage, but a natural process. When the fruit spread is boiled again, the crystals dissolve again.
