: Review date:It's hard to deny that Zwergenwiese's horseradish contains beetroot - given the wonderfully vibrant pink-purple paste. The colour contrasts on bread or rolls make me laugh every time, as my spreads are usually quite dull in terms of colour: cheese yellow, fresh cheese white, camembert beige.... In terms of taste, I find the otherwise quite sharp horseradish in this composition rather mild and soft. The sweet beetroot is definitely recognisable and harmonises excellently with the mild spiciness. Visually a bit crazy. The Zwergenwiese horseradish is also easy to spread. A disadvantage for single households: the rather quick consumption time after opening. Given the size of the product, you have to eat the spread every day to avoid throwing it away because it spoils - or share it with someone else.
Dass in dem Meerrettich von Zwergenwiese rote Bete enthalten ist, lässt sich wohl kaum leugnen - bei der wunderbar kräftig rosa-violett leuchtenden Paste. Die Farbkontraste auf Brot oder Brötchen bringen mich jedes Mal zum Lachen, da meine Aufstriche farblich normalerweise recht öde sind: käsegelb, frischkäseweiß, camembertbeige,... Geschmacklich empfinde ich den sonst recht scharfen Meerrettich in dieser Komposition eher mild und weich. Die süßliche rote Bete ist definitiv erkennbar und harmoniert mit der milden Schärfe ausgezeichnet. Optisch etwas crazy eben. Leicht verstreichen lässt sich der Zwergenwiese Merrettich auch. Ein Nachteil bei Single-Haushalten: die doch recht schnelle Verbrauchszeit nach dem Öffnen. Bei der Produktgröße muss man den Aufstrich täglich essen, um nichts davon wegen Verderb wegschmeißen zu müssen - oder eben mit jemandem teilen.
