Spielberger Organic 6-Flakes-Mixture. The package contains organic flakes of oats, wheat, rye, barley, rice and spelt. Each grain is steamed and then rolled into a nice flake. The flakes mixture is versatile and suitable for cereals, soups and as a basis for desserts.
Recipe: simple vegetable cakes
500 g vegetables of your choice, 1 onion, 4 heaped tbsp. Organic 6-Flakes-Mixture, 3 tbsp. buckwheat flour, 3 tbsp. flour, 2 tsp. herb salt, 2 eggs, oil for frying
Grate the vegetables and finely chop the onion. Mix everything together in a bowl very well and knead into a dough. Let it rest for at least 1 hour. Heat the oil in a pan, add the single cakes to the pan with the spoon and fry until golden-yellow at medium heat. They taste warm and cold.
