Content of the package: 1 tube of color cream (55 ml), 1 bottle of developing solution (55 ml), 1 bottle of revitalizing balm (15 ml), 1 pair of gloves, 1 instruction manual.
- The contents of the color cream tube are mixed well with the developing solution in the Sanotint Coloring Bowl in equal parts (1:1). Put on the gloves afterwards.
- Apply the color mixture with the Sanotint Coloring Brush to the dry (or slightly dry) hair.
- Allow the color to act for 30 minutes. In case of coloring the hairline, the reaction time is 20 minutes at first. Subsequently, the color mixture is applied to the lengths and tips and the reaction time is extended by a further 10 minutes. The manufacturer recommends covering the hair with a foil and an old towel during the coloring period.
- After the reaction time, rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water, and then wash the hair thoroughly with a shampoo (Sanotint Color Shampoo).
- After slightly drying the hair, add the Sanotint revitalizing balm to give your hair more color brilliance and good combability after coloring.
- The Sanotint revitalizing balm can optionally remain in the hair or be rinsed out like a hair treatment after a short time.

Each hair is individual in its structure and reacts differently to colors. For example, your initial hair color determines the color result. Before you begin, check the hair color of your desired hair color by means of a sample. This is very easy with Sanotint, since even small quantities can be mixed ready for use.
The Sanotint nuances 1-30 are intermixable. Note that you should only mix colors with the same color depth. A coverage of the hair during the reaction time is not necessary with the nuances 87 and 88. The Sanotint nuances 73-86 can be mixed with each other. The nuances 87 and 88 should only be mixed with the colors 76, 79, 85 and 86.
If your hair is very thick or longer than chin-lenght, you may need two packs to achieve a satisfactory color result.

: Review date:I like the colour very much. But you have to be aware that the term "deep brown" is really appropriate here. After the first wash-out, the hair looks almost black in the darker bathroom light. In the open air and when reflected in the sun, the hair is slightly lighter and a red shimmer can also be seen. Overall, the hair looks very natural. The application itself was easy, as with other hair colours: mix, apply, wait, wash out, done. You're done with everything after less than 60 minutes, which is a big advantage for me compared to classic vegetable hair colours, where you sometimes have to let the colour work for hours. I also bought the Sanotint colour protection shampoo and in combination I am very satisfied. One point deduction for the somewhat unpleasant smell when mixing and applying the colour.
Mir gefällt die Farbe gut. Man muss sich aber bewusst sein, dass der Begriff "Tiefbraun" hier wirklich angebracht ist. Nach dem ersten Auswaschen sehen die Haare im dunkleren Badezimmerlicht fast schwarz aus. In der freien Natur und bei Reflexion in der Sonne sind die Haare etwas heller und es lässt sich auch ein Rotschimmer erkennen. Die Haare sehen insgesamt sehr natürlich aus. Das Auftragen an sich war wie bei anderen Haarfarben einfach: anmischen, auftragen, warten, auswaschen, fertig. Man ist nach nicht mal 60 Minuten mit allem fertig, was für mich ein großer Vorteil gegenüber klassischen Pflanzenhaarfarben ist, bei denen man die Farbe teilweise stundenlang einwirken lassen muss. Ich habe mir zusätzlich noch das Sanotint Farbschutz Shampoo gekauft und in Kombination bin ich sehr zufrieden. Ein Punkt Abzug für den etwas unangenehmen Geruch beim Anrühren und Auftragen der Farbe.

Die Haarfarbe hat eine sehr gute Grauabdeckung und ist schon fertig angerührt. Man muss nur noch den Farbentwickler dazu mischen und schon kann man die fertige Haarfarbe auftragen. Ich habe es eine halbe Stunde einwirken lassen und es war das erste mal, dass meine Kopfhaut beim Färbevorgang nicht gejuckt hat. Auch danach hat meine Kopfhaut nicht gespannt. Mit dem Farbergebnis war ich sehr zufrieden. Noch ein Plus an der Haarfarbe finde ich, dass man sie wieder verwerten kann (also wenn man nur den Ansatz färben möchte, nimmt man nur soviel Farbe wie man braucht und den Rest kann man aubewahren bis man ihn wieder benötigt ohne das sie kaputt geht). Ich kann die Sanotint Haarfarbe Tiefbraun wärmstens weiter empfehlen.

I also had problems from the beginning distributing the creamy colour evenly in my hair and would have actually needed a helping second person. What I also didn't like was that the mixed cream was almost not enough to cover my shoulder-length hair. I probably would have needed two packs for that. But then the colouring becomes quite expensive. So I don't really know if I will give Sanotint another chance. Let's see how long the colour lasts.
Ich bin mit meiner neuen Haarfarbe leider nicht so ganz zufrieden. Vielleicht liegt es daran, dass ich sehr dickes Haar habe, aber meine grauen Strähnen wurden nicht so gut abgedeckt, dass ich sie nun nicht mehr erkennen kann. Ich hatte zudem von Anfang an Probleme, die cremige Farbe gleichmäßig in meinen Haaren zu verteilen und hätte eigentlich noch eine helfende zweite Person benötigt. Was mir auch nicht gefallen hat, war, dass die angemischte Creme fast nicht ausgereicht hätte, um meine schulterlangen Haare zu bedecken. Ich hätte dafür wohl schon zwei Packungen benötigt. Dann wird das Färben aber ganz schön teuer. Daher weiß ich noch nicht so recht, ob ich Sanotint nochmal eine Chance geben werde. Mal sehen, wie lange die Farbe hält.

I reject conventional chemical products on principle because I don't tolerate them well. The Sanotint colours are a good intermediate solution. They are not as aggressive as products from the drugstore. The application is very easy. Just mix and apply, you can't go wrong. The opacity of the 02 Deep Brown is really convincing. It covers my occasional grey hairs well and the luminosity of the colour is also very nice. My hair shines beautifully and feels cared for.
Ich verwende generell nur Haarfarben von Sanotint, wobei die Farbe Tiefbraun mein persönlicher Favorit ist. Herkömmliche Pflanzenhaarfarben decken meine grauen Haare leider nur ungenügend ab. Konventionelle Chemieprodukte lehne ich prinzipiell ab, da ich sie nicht gut vertrage. Die Sanotint Farben sind da eine gute Zwischenlösung. Sie sind nicht so aggressiv wie Produkte aus dem Drogeriemarkt. Die Anwendung ist kinderleicht. Einfach anrühren und auftragen, da kann man nichts falsch machen. Die Deckkraft der 02 Tiefbraun überzeugt wirklich. Meine vereinzelten grauen Haare werden gut abgedeckt und die Leuchtkraft der Farbe ist auch sehr schön. I also bought the mixing bowl and the application brush and it works really well. The bowl is not really necessary because you can mix the two tubes in a ceramic bowl or something similar, but the application brush is really practical because you can easily reach the hairline with it. The colour doesn't drip and has more of a creamy consistency. As I have a slight allergic reaction to many hair dyes, it itches a little on my head the first day but quickly subsides. The colour residue on the skin washes off easily. The luminosity of the hair is phenomenal and hardly diminishes even after several weeks.
Die Farben von Sanotint sind vielleicht nicht ganz so naturnah wie andere biologische Haarfarben aber für die Grauhaarabdeckung perfekt. Hab mir die Mischschale und den Auftragpinsel zusätzlich gekauft und komme echt gut damit zurecht. Die Schale ist nicht ganz so notwendig weil man die beiden Tuben auch in einer Keramikschale oder Ähnlichem anmischen kann aber der Auftragpinsel ist echt praktisch weil man damit problemlos den Haaransatz erreicht. Die Farbe tropft nicht und hat eher eine cremige Konsistenz. Nachdem ich auf viele Haarfarben leicht allergisch reagiere juckt es den ersten Tag ein wenig am Kopf aber klingt auch schnell wieder ab. Die Farbreste auf der Haut lassen sich problemlos abwaschen. Die Leuchtkraft der Haare ist phänomenal und lässt auch nach meheren Wochen kaum nach.

Several colours can be combined without any problems. The dosage for the mixing ratio is facilitated by a scale on the tube.
I would not recommend the product for very sensitive scalps. Although it is a natural cosmetic product, it is not a pure plant hair colour (such as henna). The developer seems quite aggressive to me, in contrast to some higher-quality standard products, although I am not normally sensitive to chemical hair dyes.
However, I was shocked the first time I used it, when the instruction leaflet recommended the application with the Sanotint mixing bowl and the Sanotint brush! Unfortunately, this information is missing from the product description available online. None of the usual mixing bottles are included!
However, after the 3rd problem-free application, I can say without a guilty conscience: The colour can be mixed in a dog-shaped stainless steel bowl with a spoon and applied very well and evenly even without a brush. In contrast to conventional products, the paint is not quite as liquid, so it hardly drips or splatters.

Mehrere Farben lassen sich problemlos kombinieren. Die Dosierung für das Mischungsverhältnis wird durch eine Skala auf der Tube erleichtert.
Bei sehr empfindlicher Kopfhaut würde ich das Produkt nicht empfehlen. Zwar handelt es sich um ein naturkosmetisches Produkt, aber nicht um eine reine Pflanzenhaarfarbe (wie z.B. Henna). Der Entwickler kommt mir doch im Gegensatz zu so manchem höherwertigen Standardprodukt recht agressiv vor, obwohl ich normalerweise gar nicht empfindlich auf chemische Haarfarben reagiere.
Bei der Ersten Anwendung war ich allerdings geschockt, als der Beipackzettel die Anwendung mit der Sanotint-Mischschale und dem Sanotint-Pinsel empfahl! Diese Info fehlt leider in der online verfügbaren Produktbeschreibung. Es liegt keine der üblischen Mischflaschen bei!
Ich kann aber nach der 3. problemlosen Anwendung ohne schlechtes Gewissen behaupten: Die Farbe lässt sich in einer hundsgewöhnlichen Edelstahlschüssel mit einem Löffel anmischen und auch ohne Pinsel sehr gut und gleichmässig auftragen. Im Gegensatz zu herkömmlichen Produkten ist die Farbe nicht ganz so flüssig, tropft und spritzt also kaum.
