A wheat or spelt grain essentially consists of 3 parts: the husk, the germ and the endosperm. The hull, which consists of various membranes, is rich in proteins, fat and various minerals. The germ, which makes up only 2-4% of the total weight of the grain, contains about 25% of the total protein content of the grain. The endosperm is the main component of the grain, accounting for more than 80%. It contains mainly protein and carbohydrates. So what exactly is the difference between normal pasta and wholemeal pasta? With normal pasta, only the endosperm is processed, whereas with wholemeal pasta, the outer layers and the germ are also ground. Wholemeal pasta therefore has a somewhat firmer consistency and is significantly darker than classic durum wheat or spelt pasta. Wholemeal pasta tastes a little more tart, but is usually somewhat more filling than normal pasta.

For me, spelt noodles go best with a savoury tomato sauce. I just love the nutty-sweet spelt noodles in combination with seasoning. Naturata spelt noodles convince me with a good bite, high-quality organic ingredients and an aromatic taste. Gladly again.

Dinkelnudeln passen für mich am besten zu einer herzhaften Tomatensoße. Ich liebe einfach die nussig-süßen Dinkelnudeln in Kombination mit Würze. Dinkelnudeln von Naturata überzeugen mich durch einen guten Biss, hochwertige Bio-Zutaten und einen aromatischen Geschmack. Gerne wieder.

Really tasty (a bit nutty), good bite. Nowhere to be found locally, so I prefer to order a large supply directly online. Our favourite pasta! No matter if plain with olive oil and garlic or with a really well cooked, intense tomato sauce.

Richtig lecker (bisschen nussig), guter Biss. Lokal bei uns nirgends zu bekommen, deswegen lieber einen großen Vorrat direkt online bestellt. Unser Nudelfavorit! Ganz egal ob schlicht mit Olivenöl und Knoblauch oder mit einer richtig gut eingekochten, intensiven Tomatensoße.
