: Review date:We prefer to eat these crispy slices without salt, but every now and then we do. Delicious with a savoury topping, with jam we can taste the salt too much for our liking (we generally eat very little salt/heavily salted food). The quality without salt (buckwheat) is good. But you can taste the buckwheat, you have to like it. Well suited to our gluten-free diet. Satisfied so far.

Das Blumenbrot aus Buchweizen schmeckt rustikal und würzig. Ich würde sagen, dass es deswegen eher für Anhänger von dunklem Misch- oder Vollkornbrot geeignet ist. Die einzelnen Scheiben sind knusprig. Ich finde auch gar nicht, dass sie so leicht brechen oder stark bröseln. Man muss die dünnen Brote nur vorsichtig und mit Gefühl bestreichen. Als Belag kann man eigentlich alles verwenden, was einem so schmeckt bzw. was der Körper verträgt, egal ob süß, salzig oder scharf. Ich kann die Blumenbrote aus Buchweizen nur wärmstens empfehlen, sie schmecken wirklich sehr gut. Es gibt übrigens auch eine Variante der Schnitten ohne Zucker und Salz.

The crispy bread also breaks very quickly, so it is very difficult to spread it. That's okay, but the taste is not our cup of tea at all. They taste bland and mealy. Neither savoury nor sweet toppings could cover that up. Therefore, we will not buy the wafers again.
Da mein Mann kein Gluten verträgt, sind wir immer wieder auf der Suche nach leckeren Ersatzprodukten. Daher haben wir vor ein paar Wochen auch die Buchweizenschnitten bestellt. Leider können wir uns den bisher sehr positiven Bewertungen überhaupt nicht anschließen, da uns die Schnitten gar nicht geschmeckt haben. Sie sind ähnlich wie Knäckebrot, aber aus Buchweizen. Das knusprige Brot zerbricht auch sehr schnell, so dass es sehr schwierig ist, es zu bestreichen. Das geht ja noch, aber der Geschmack ist überhaupt nicht unser Fall. Sie schmecken fade und mehlig. Weder herzhafter noch süßer Belag konnte das überdecken. Daher werden wir die Schnitten nicht noch einmal kaufen.
