: Review date:I recently used the chopped tomatoes in an Italian sauce. They gave it a natural taste of fresh tomato, without artificial additives or enhancers. The colour of the sauce also took on an intense red and the whole kitchen smelled deliciously of Italy. However, the added pieces made the sauce a little too sweet for me. I was able to counteract this somewhat with Italian spices (organic, of course), but a certain sweetness remained. La Selva offers a great product here, which unfortunately doesn't quite meet my taste. So next time I'll go for another brand. But if you like sweet tomato sauce, this is the right product for you.
Die gestückelten Tomaten wurden von mir neulich für eine italienische Sauce verwendet. Sie gaben dieser einen natürlichen Geschmack nach frischer Tomate, ohne künstliche Zusätze oder Verstärker. Auch die Farbe der Sauce erhielt ein intensives rot und die ganze Küche roch lecker nach Italien. Allerdings wurde mir die Sauce durch die beigefügten Stücke dann etwas zu süß. Ich konnte dem mit italienischen Gewürzen (natürlich auch bio) zwar etwas entgegen wirken, aber eine gewisse Süße blieb. La Selva bietet hier ein super Produkt an, das leider nicht ganz meinen Geschmack trifft. Daher werde ich das nächste Mal zu einer anderen Marke greifen. Wem aber süße Tomatensauce schmeckt, der ist hier richtig.

: Review date:LaSelva's tomatoes are all grown under the Italian sun in Tuscany. And you can taste that clearly, because the chopped tomatoes have a very intense sweet and fruity taste. They really can't be compared to the bland canned tomatoes from the discount store. I use the tomatoes mostly for my Italian sauce. They give it a typical Bella Italia flavour. Then add a few high-quality spices and let it boil down for a few hours. It doesn't taste any better in a restaurant. I only buy LaSelva tomatoes, which are by far the best for me.
Die Tomaten von LaSelva werden alle unter der italienischen Sonne der Toskana angebaut. Und das kann man auch deutlich heraus schmecken, denn die gestückelten Tomaten haben einen sehr intensiven süßen und fruchtigen Geschmack. Mit den faden Dosentomaten aus dem Discounter lassen sie sich wirklich überhaupt nicht mehr vergleichen. Ich verwende die Tomaten meistens für meine italienische Sauce. Diese bekommt durch sie einen typischen Geschmack nach Bella Italia. Dann noch ein paar hochwertige Gewürze dazu und ein paar Stunden einkochen lassen. Besser schmeckt es auch im Restaurant nicht. Ich kaufe nur die Tomaten von LaSelva – das sind für mich mit Abstand die besten.
