For me, the noodles have an unpleasant rancid smell and taste. This is probably due to the added linseed flour. Even a strong sauce could not cover the taste. It was inedible. Definitely never again !

Die Nudeln haben für mich einen unangenehmen ranzigen Geruch und Geschmack. Wahrscheinlich liegt das an dem zugesetzten Leinsamenmehl. Selbst eine kräftige Soße konnte den Geschmack nicht überdecken. War ungenießbar. Definitiv nie wieder !

I tried the spirelli for pasta salad. My experience is that if I cook the noodles separately and leave them a little firm, they work well for pasta salad. The size of the spirelli is also great. They are less suitable for cooking "everything in one pot" dishes. So now I always take an extra pot for it, then it fits for me :-)

Die Spirelli habe ich für Nudelsalat ausprobiert. Meine Erfahrung ist, wenn ich die Nudeln extra koche und noch ein klein wenig fest lasse, dann geht das ganz gut für Nudelsalat. Toll ist dabei auch die Größe der Spirellis. Für "alles in einem Topf" kochen Gerichte eignen sich die eher weniger. Also ich nehme jetzt immer einen extra Topf dafür, dann paßt es für mich :-)

This is my favourite kind of pasta. Better taste than pasta made from pure buckwheat, very digestible and less carbohydrates in percentage terms than "normal" pasta.

Das ist meine Lieblings-Nudelsorte. Besserer Geschmack als Nudeln aus reinem Buchweizen, sehr verträglich und prozentual weniger Kohlehydrate als "normale" Nudeln.

They don't really taste like real pasta (made from durum wheat), but I still like to have them in the house as an alternative. Tastes quite good with green pesto.

Geschmacklich kommen sie nicht wirklich an echte Pasta (aus Hartweizen) ran aber als Alternative hab ich sie trotzdem gerne im Haus. Schmeckt ganz gut mir grünem Pesto.

After I've been curious about the noodles for a few weeks now, I dared to order the Goodels. Namely, the buckwheat ones. The noodles are gluten-free, beige in colour, small, thin and shaped like fusilli. But totally asymmetrical and crooked. Because of the very short cooking time, you should definitely rinse the Goodels with cold water after the three minutes so that the cooking process is interrupted. Otherwise they become buttery and mushy. The taste is actually not as strange as expected, the Goodels taste slightly nutty. Conclusion: I don't have to have the noodles every day, but they are okay.

Nachdem ich die Nudeln nun seit ein paar Wochen neugierig umschleiche, hab ich mich jetzt mal getraut die Goodels zu bestellen. Und zwar die aus Buchweizen. Die Nudeln sind ohne Gluten, haben eine beige Farbe, sind klein, dünn und ähnlich geformt wie Fusilli. Aber total asymmetrisch und krumm. Aufgrund der sehr kurzen Kochzeit sollte man die Goodels nach den drei Minuten unbedingt mit kaltem Wasser abschrecken, damit der Garprozess unterbrochen wird. Ansonsten werden sie butterweich und matschig. Der Geschmack ist eigentlich gar nicht so fremdartig, wie erwartet, die Goodels schmecken leicht nussig. Fazit: Ich muss die Nudeln nicht jeden Tag haben, aber sie sind in Ordnung.
