: Review date:The consistency of this shea butter cream takes a lot of getting used to - you should definitely consider this before buying it. The consistency resembles a coarse-pored washing cream with a crumb-like structure! At first I thought the cream was somehow 'spoiled'. It is only when applied at room temperature that the cream melts on the skin and leaves a nourishing effect that is incredibly soft and creamy. But you really have to apply the cream at warm temperatures - otherwise the crumb-like structure does not melt and that is very unpleasant and irritating. I tried to apply the cream in a cooler bedroom - no chance! The crumbs remained and crumbled away. I find the care effect absolutely excellent - I even use the cream on my rosacea-plagued facial skin and am extremely satisfied - no redness or irritation! - I tolerate the cream very well on my face. For the care effect I give 5 stars - for the very unusual consistency, which the manufacturer should point out more explicitly, I deduct 1 star!
Die Konsistenz dieser Sheabutter-Crème ist überaus gewöhnungsbedürftig - das sollte man unbedingt vor dem Kauf beachten. Die Konsistenz ähnelt einer grobporigen Waschcrème mit krümelartiger Struktur !!! Ich dachte zuerst, die Crème sei irgendwie 'verdorben'. Erst beim Auftragen BEI ZIMMERTEMPERATUR zerschmilzt die Crème auf der Haut und hinterlässt eine Pflegewirkung, die unglaublich weich und crèmig ist. Man muß die Crème aber auch wirklich bei warmen Temperaturen auftragen - andernfalls zerschmilzt die krümelartige Struktur nicht und das ist dann schon sehr unangenehm und irritierend. Ich wollte die Crème mal im kühleren Schlafzimmer auftragen - keine Chance ! Die Krümel blieben und bröckelten vor sich hin. Die Pflegewirkung empfinde ich als absolut hervorragend - ich verwende die Crème sogar auf meiner Rosazea-geplagten Gesichtshaut und bin überaus zufrieden - keine Rötungen und Irritationen ! - ich vertrage die Crème bestens im Gesicht. Für die Pflegewirkung gebe ich 5 Sterne - für die doch sehr gewöhnungsbedürftige Konsistenz auf die der Hersteller expliziter hinweisen müsste - ziehe ich 1 Stern ab !

The only drawback is the application itself - the butter needs to be well rubbed and warmed in the hands before using it on the body, otherwise it won't distribute evenly. But it's definitely worth the effort!

: Review date:This is the first time I have bought pure shea butter (for direct application and for mixing with other oils) and I have to say I am quite ambivalent about it.....I think the quality is good and the care effect too, but I don't like the consistency at all. I had expected a firm, even butter-like, mass, but the shea butter is very porous and crumbly, so that you always have a lot under your nails when you take it out with your finger, and even in the homemade body butter these granules didn't quite dissolve. I will try a different brand next time.
Das ist das erste Mal das ich reine Sheabutter gekauft habe (zum direkten Auftragen und zum Vermischen mit anderen Ölen) und ich muss sagen ich bin recht zwiespältiger Meinung.....Ich denke die Qualität ist gut und die Pflegewirkung auch, aber die Konsistenz gefällt mir überhaupt nicht. Ich hatte mit einer festen, eben butterähnlichen, Masse gerechnet, aber die Sheabutter ist sehr porös und krümmelig, so dass man bei der Entnahme mit dem Finger immer viel unter den Nägeln hat und auch in der selbstgemachten Körperbutter haben sich diese Körnchen nicht ganz aufgelöst. Ich werde es beim nächsten Mal mit einer anderen Marke versuchen.
