BioVegan Organic Agar Agar Sheets. Purely vegetable gelling agent in sheet form for hearty jellies and terrines, fruit spreads, icing on cakes, vegetable aspic or cut-resistant food. An alternative to gelatin. Let your creativity run free and discover the many possible uses.
Application
Easy dosage and high gelation safety thanks to the same sheet format as conventional gelatine. Weighing of powder is no longer necessary.
Preparation
Dosage for 500ml:
Cut-resistant masses = 2 sheets, lighter bindings (e.g. jelly) = 1 sheet. Allow the food to gel in the refrigerator for at least 3 hrs after preparation.
Warm dishes:
Add the agar agar directly to the liquid and bring to the boil, stirring constantly. Now let it boil for about 2 minutes until the agar agar has completely dissolved.
Cold dishes:
Add the agar agar to 100 ml of liquid and bring to the boil, stirring constantly. Now let it boil for at least 1 minute until the agar agar has completely dissolved. Let it cool slightly and gradually add 400ml of a cold ingredient, stirring thoroughly.
