BioGourmet Organic Golden Millet. Millet is one of the oldest types of grain and originally comes from Asia and East Africa. It is a husked cereal whose grain is surrounded by a hard, indigestible husk, which is gently peeled off for BioGourmet golden millet. With its slightly nutty flavour, it can be used in a variety of ways: as an ingredient in patties, in savoury or sweet casseroles, as a classic millet porridge or for baking bread.

Application:
Boil the millet with twice the amount of liquid (water, vegetable stock or milk) for approx. 10 minutes and then leave to soak for approx. 10 minutes.
Tip: The natural bitter substances in the millet can be reduced by rinsing with lukewarm water before cooking.
