BioGourmet Organic Buckwheat Grains. The knotweed plant, which flowers well into autumn, is a real feast for the eyes and serves as food for many insects. After harvesting, the fruits are painstakingly peeled and cleaned in a special mill, as the dark, very hard skin is not suitable for human consumption. In addition to their traditional use as an accompaniment to vegetable and meat dishes, buckwheat seeds also enrich salads and muesli mixes.

Application:
Wash the buckwheat in a sieve and bring to the boil with twice the amount of lightly salted water. As soon as the water boils, reduce the heat to the lowest setting, put the lid on and leave to simmer gently for approx. 15 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and leave to rest for a few minutes before serving.
