: Description:

BioGourmet Organic Bread Dumplings with Beetroot. For these bread dumplings, fine light-coloured dumpling bread is refined with beetroot and tasty herbs This traditional, tried and tested recipe was once widespread from Swabia to Bohemia, from Franconia to South Tyrol. A tasty and filling speciality can be made in just a few simple steps, both in the round dumpling shape and as a roll for the restaurant version ‘Serviettenknödel’.
Preparation:
  1. Add 150 ml warm milk and 1 egg to the dumpling mixture, mix well and leave to stand for approx. 10 minutes.
  2. In the meantime, bring a large pan of salted water to the boil.
  3. Now knead the dumpling mixture well, shape into 6 dumplings with wet hands and place in the boiling salted water.
  4. Switch off the hob immediately and leave the dumplings to cook for 10 minutes with the lid on.
