: Review date:Bauck sugar beet syrup tastes great and has been my family's favourite for many years! Heavenly on buttered bread or quark! But the syrup is also always added to our gingerbread dough at Christmas. However, the lid of the paper cup only closes quite loosely and I therefore pour the syrup into a glass after opening it for the first time. One star is deducted for this.
Geschmacklich ist der Bauck Zuckerrübensirup spitze und seit vielen Jahren der Begleiter meiner Familie! Auf Butterbrot oder auf Quark… himmlisch! Aber auch in unseren Lebkuchenteig kommt zu Weihnachten immer der Sirup. Allerdings schließt der Deckel des Pappbechers nur recht locker und ich fülle den Sirup deshalb nach dem ersten Öffnen in ein Glas ab. Dafür gibt es einen Stern Abzug.

: Review date:Versatile and above all a somewhat different taste than just "sugar". It has a strong caramel flavour, but there is also a fruity component. If it's too runny for me, I just put it in the fridge an hour before I eat it, then it becomes firmer and doesn't run off the bread so quickly.
Vielseitig verwendbar und vor allem mal ein etwas anderer Geschmack als einfach nur "Zucker". Es geht stark in eine Karamell-Richtung, jedoch kommt auch eine fruchtige Komponente durch. Wenn er mir mal zu flüssig ist, packe ich ihn einfach eine Stunde vor Verzehr in den Kühlschrank, dann wird er fester und läuft nicht so schnell vom Brot.
