Baking mixture for one round crumble cake
: Description:
Preparation time: 5-10 minutes.
Baking time: approx. 50 minutes.
Just add: 150 g butter (room temperature) or 150 g margarine (room temperature) and 1 jar of sour jam/jelly (e.g. raspberry, blackberry, currant).
- Preheat the oven with top and bottom heat to 175 °C (gas level 3).
- Give the mixture in a bowl.
- Cut the butter (margarine) into small pieces and add to the flour mixture.
- Mix the ingredients briefly and rub cumbles with the hands.
- Spread 2/3 of the cumbles evenly on the bottom of a greased orwith baking sheets covered 24 or 26-springform pan, press firmly and raise up about 1 cm high at the edge.
- Spread jam or jelly evenly on the cake.
- Spread the remaining third of the sprinkles on the surface.
- Bake in the middel of the pre-heated oven (175 °C) for about 50 minutes until golden brown.

Praktisch, weil man nur Butter und 1 Glas Marmelade ergänzen muss. Mit den Händen zusammenmischen, streuselt sich quasi von selbst. Kaufe ich trotzdem nicht wieder, weil mir Teig leider viel zu süß ist. Wer nicht auf seinen Zuckerkonsum achtet, empfindet das bestimmt anders, aber ich spare Zucker ein, wo immer möglich und dann ist ne "normale" Menge oft schon übersüß.

Unlike any homemade shortcrust pastry, however, the crumbles don't form by themselves during mixing, which I thought was a bit silly, since crumbles should actually be on top and not just crumbs. And forming crumbles by hand, so I wasn't that bored after all (and other people who make a BAKING MIXTURE probably weren't either) ;-) But otherwise, as I said, very tasty. My husband ate 2 pieces at once.
Habe den Kuchen mit Sauerkirschen (statt Marmelade) gemacht - diese Mischung ist ganz lecker, vor allem da der Teig selbst schon sehr süß ist. Im Gegensatz zu jedem selbst hergestellten Mürbeteig bilden sich hier allerdings die Streusel nicht schon beim Mixen von selbst, was ich etwas doof fand, da ja eigentlich Streusel oben drauf sollten und nicht nur Krümelei. Und Streusel von Hand formen, also so langweilig war mir dann doch nicht (und anderen Menschen, die eine BACKMISCHUNG machen, vermutlich auch nicht). ;-) Ansonsten aber wie gesagt sehr lecker. Mein Mann hat gleich 2 Stücke gefuttert.
