Bauck Organic Cheesecake Brownies Baking Mixture. Brownies or rather cheesecake? Do you sometimes find it hard to decide when baking? Then the Cheesecake Brownies by Bauck might be a suitable combination for you. Juicy brownie batter meets creamy cheesecake topping and makes the hearts of all cake and dessert lovers beat faster. Also a vegan treat and of course gluten free.
For 1 springform pan (ø 25 cm). Add the following ingredients:
  • For the dough: 125 g soft butter, 1 egg, 100 ml milk
  • For the cream: 250 g low-fat quark, 1 egg.
  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (top/bottom heat) and cover a springform pan (ø 25 cm) with baking paper.
  2. Add the baking mixture for the brownie batter in a bowl and mix with the butter, egg and milk. In a second bowl, mix the cheesecake cream mix with the low-fat quark and egg.
  3. Pour the brownie batter into the springform pan and smooth it out. Then, using a tablespoon, spread the cheesecake cream in small drops on top.
  4. Bake for approx. 40 minutes on a medium rack. Allow to cool well before serving. A longer baking time will affect the juiciness of the cheesecake brownies. Tip: the brownie batter becomes extra chewy if you stir in 2 tablespoons of sugar beet syrup. 

Vegan preparation
Add the following ingredients:
  • For the dough: 100 g soft margarine, 100 ml vegetable drink
  • For the cream: 150 g vegan cream cheese, 150 g vegan curd.
For a vegan preparation, add margarine with vegetable drink and the baking mixture for the brownie batter in a bowl and whisk until smooth. In a second bowl, mix the cheesecake cream mix with vegan cream cheese and vegan curd. The other steps are the same as above.
