: Description:
- Preheat oven to 225 °C top and bottom heat (gas level 4)
- Stir briefly the Quick Bread Mix in 500 ml of lukewarm water with a whisk or hand mixer.
- Do not allow the dough to rise before baking!
- Fill the dough in a greased baking dish (25 x 10 cm).
- Spread it smooth from top with water and brush then with oil. Notch in the middle with a spatula dipped in oil or a knife.
- Bake the bread at 225 °C for 50-60 minutes.
- Take out immediately from the baking dish. Let cool well on a grating before cutting.

I always freeze it sliced, and then toast it when I want to eat some. That way I always have bread there, just in case :-) It works quite well that way.
Ein leckeres Brot, auch für diejenigen, die Gluten vertragen. Ich empfehle, es entweder innerhalb von ca. 2-3 Tagen zu essen, oder einzufrieren, weil es dann anfängt, schlecht zu werden bzw. zu schimmeln. Ich friere es immer in Scheiben geschnitten ein, und toaste es dann, wenn ich etwas davon essen will. So habe ich immer Brot da, für alle Fälle :-) So klappt es ganz gut.

: Review date:The quick bread from Bauckhof is okay, but doesn't really knock my socks off. We tried out the baking mix at the weekend. Everything worked perfectly and the mixing was done in just a few minutes. The oven does the rest on its own. The wonderful smell of freshly baked bread made our mouths water. Unfortunately, the taste of the loaf could not keep up. The bread doesn't taste bad, but not like really good fresh bread from the bakery. But that's how it usually is with ready-made products ;-) We will probably not buy the baking mix again.
Das schnelle Brot von Bauckhof ist ganz okay, haut mich aber nicht unbedingt vom Hocker. Wir haben die Backmischung am Wochenende mal ausprobiert. Es hat alles einwandfrei geklappt und das Anrühren war bereits nach wenigen Minuten geschafft. Den Rest macht der Ofen ja von alleine. Der herrliche Duft nach frisch gebackenem Brot ließ uns das Wasser im Munde zusammen laufen. Leider konnte der Laib da geschmacklich nicht mithalten. Das Brot schmeckt zwar nicht schlecht, aber eben auch nicht wie ein richtig gutes frisches Brot vom Bäcker. Aber so ist das ja meistens mit Fertigprodukten ;-) Werden die Backmischung wohl nicht noch einmal kaufen.
