Karin Lang Agava Organic Gelling Sugar 3:1. Due to the reduced ratio of sugar to fruit, the gelling sugar is suitable for both particularly fruity and sugar-reduced fruit spreads. For 1.5 kg fruit or 1.2 l fruit juice
Dosage: 500 g of preserving sugar for 1.5 kg of fruit or 1.2 l of fruit juice.
  • Spread: Wash the fruit, stone if necessary, puree and then mix with the gelling sugar. 
  • Jelly: Mix cold, unsweetened fruit juice with gelling sugar. 
  • Bring to the boil in a pot and continue to boil for 4 minutes, stirring until bubbling.
  • Carry out a gelling sample.
  • Then fill to the brim in boiled jars and seal well.
