They are therefore a valuable aid in the kitchen when thickening smoothies, custards or sauces. They are also used in baking and can be easily incorporated into various types of dough. Leave 1–2 teaspoons (4–8 g) of psyllium husks to soak in 200–400 ml of water or juice for 15 minutes each day. Give it a good stir again before use.

Ingrediënten:

Psyllium husks from certified organic farming.
May contain traces of nuts, peanuts, sesame, soya and cereals containing gluten.

Store in a dry place, away from light and heat.
Psyllium husks are high in fibre and have a high swelling capacity. They should therefore be consumed with plenty of liquid.
