BioVegan Organic Like Fish Flavour. With this umami seasoning mix, you can conjure up maritime flavours from plant-based ingredients, without any fish. Tofu, seitan or vegetables become savoury vegan alternatives for herring salad, carrot salmon or other classic fish dishes.
Simple application:
You need:
- 1 block of tofu 200 g (alternatively seitan) / 23 tbsp water
- Optional 1 tbsp beetroot juice
- Oil for frying
Preparation:
1. halve the block of tofu and cut into the top at a distance of approx. 2 mm.
2. mix the oil, water and beetroot juice (if using) with the seasoning mix, add the tofu to the marinade and leave to marinate in the fridge for at least 1 hour (preferably overnight).
3. optionally roll the tofu in starch and sear on both sides.
