When it comes to spreads, I like to try something new. This is also the case with the relatively new Lupi Love from Zwergenwiese. The spread is made from lupines, which is supposed to be the new soy. It has a reddish colour, is very finely pureed and creamy. Although it contains mostly tomato paste, you can clearly taste the peppers. In my opinion, they overdid it a bit with the pepper. My impression: Lupi Love is nothing special. You can eat the spread without any problems, but I don't necessarily have to have it again. I give the Lupi Love paprika pepper three stars.

Bei Brotaufstrichen probiere ich gerne etwas neues aus. So auch das relativ neue Lupi Love von Zwergenwiese. Der Aufstrich wird aus Lupinen hergestellt, was wohl das neue Soja werden soll. Er hat eine rötliche Farbe, ist sehr fein püriert und cremig. Obwohl zum größten Teil Tomatenmark enthalten ist, kann man die Paprika deutlich heraus schmecken. Beim Würzen haben sie es, meiner Meinung nach, aber etwas mit dem Pfeffer übertrieben. Mein Eindruck: Lupi Love ist nichts besonderes. Man kann den Brotaufstrich ohne Probleme essen, ich muss ihn aber nicht unbedingt noch einmal haben. Ich gebe dem Lupi Love Paprika Pfeffer drei Sterne.

Soooo gut, als hätte man es eben frisch zubereitet. Ich kann es mir auch gut zum kochen vorstellen, mit Reis vernischt oder zu gebratenem Gemüse.
