I'm really a fan of Zotter. The advent calendar always gives me the opportunity to try flavours that I wouldn't normally order. So far, for example, I have found the vegan hazelnut nougat brittle very tasty. The calendar also looks very nice. There is a new motif every year. In terms of price, the calendar is more expensive than others. But it's really worth it.

Ich bin wirklich ein Fan von Zotter. Der Adventskalender gibt mir immer die Möglichkeit auch Sorten zu probieren, die ich normalerweise nicht bestellen würde. So fand ich bisher z.B. die vegane Haselnussnougat Krokant sehr lecker. Optisch ist der Kalender auch sehr schön. Es gibt jedes Jahr ein neues Motiv. Preislich ist der Kalender zwar teurer als vielleicht andere. Es lohnt sich aber wirklich.

The calendar arrived yesterday. This year's design is great again! It's really a feast for the eyes compared to other calendars. I'm really looking forward to the contents, the Handgeschöpften from Zotter are the best chocolate I know. Last year I was surprised every morning how good chocolate can be! It's almost an imposition to have to wait another 6 days until finally 01.12., I hope I can stand it. :D

Der Kalender kam gestern an. Das diesjährige Design ist mal wieder super! Echt ein Augenschmaus im Gegensatz zu anderen Kalendern. Auf den Inhalt freue ich mich schon extrem, die Handgeschöpften von Zotter sind die beste Schokolade, die ich kenne. Letztes Jahr war ich jeden Morgen überrascht, wie gut Schokolade sein kann! Es ist schon fast eine Zumutung, noch 6 Tage warten zu müssen, bis endlich der 01.12. ist, ich hoffe, ich halte das aus. :D

The first 9 days are open and I am very happy with the contents so far. Here is my opinion of the individual varieties so far:
Thousand leaf nougat was nice and creamy and at the same time crunchy due to the brittle leaves. Therefore also relatively sweet, but a very nice start.
2. scotch whisky was relatively tart and powerful. i'm not a whisky lover, so i found the variety okay, but for me not a variety to repurchase.
3. white chocolate with brittle was very very sweet, but melted in my mouth and has been my favourite so far! I just like it sweet! :)
4. raspberry and coconut was balanced in taste and exotic-fruity. Neither flavour dominated too much.
5. blue poppy seed was rather unspectacular and so far my least favourite.
6. orange liqueur was good, but I'm not really an orange fan.
7. hemp praline vegan has surprised me the most so far. i wouldn't have thought that a vegan chocolate could still be so creamy. Hats off!
8. ge nuts was good, but not outstanding. It tasted like any other nut chocolate, but had good roasted flavours.
9. house plum reminded me a lot of my childhood, as my grandma used to boil down plum. So that was a nice combination for me.
Overall, I like the mix of pure chocolate bars with filled fruit bars so far. I continue to look forward to trying another new variety every day!

Die ersten 9 Tage sind geöffnet und ich bin bislang sehr zufrieden mit dem Inhalt. Hier mal meine bisherige Meinung zu den einzelnen Sorten:
1. Tausend Blätternougat war schön cremig und gleichzeitig crunchy durch die Krokantblätter. Daher auch relativ süß, aber ein sehr schöner Einstieg.
2. Scotch Whisky war relativ herb und mächtig. ich bin jetzt nicht der Whisky-Liebhaber, fand die Sorte also okay, aber für mich keine Sorte zum Nachkaufen.
3. Weiße Schokolade mit Krokant war sehr sehr süß, aber ist auf der Zunge zergangen und war bislang meine Lieblingssorte! Ich mag es halt süß! :)
4. Himbeer und Kokos war ausgewogen im Geschmack und exotisch-fruchtig. Keine der beiden Geschmacksrichtungen hat zu sehr dominiert.
5. Blauer Krachmohn war eher unspektakulär und bislang mein least favourite.
6. Orangenlikör war gut, aber ich bin nicht der wirkliche Orangenfan.
7. Hanfpraline vegan hat mich bislang am meisten überrascht. ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass eine vegane Schokolade dennoch so cremig sein kann. Hut ab!
8. Ge Nüsse war gut, aber nicht überragend. Sie hat wie eine x-beliebige Nuss-Schokolade geschmeckt, hatte aber gute Röstaromen.
9. Hauszwetschke hat mich sehr an meine Kindheit erinnert, da meine Oma immer Pflaume eingekocht hat. Das war also eine schöne Kombination für mich.
Insgesamt gefällt mir bisher vor allem die Mischung von reinen Schokoladen- mit gefüllten Fruchttafeln. Ich freue mich weiterhin jeden Tag, wieder eine neue Sorte zu probieren!

I already know the varieties Thousand Leaf Nougat, Raspberry and Coconut, Hazelnut Marzipan and a few others from last year. And I'm very happy to have them again this year! I'm particularly excited about Yuzu Citrus and Ribisel Chili Rock: the chocolatiers have been very creative again! Sounds unusual at first, but I'm sure I'll be absolutely blown away again. I'm so excited!

Der handgeschöpfte Adventskalender von Zotter ist für mich der Inbegriff von Genuss. Und endlich gibt es dieses Produkt auch bei Violey! Letztes Jahr wurde ich auf Empfehlung eines Arbeitskollegen direkt beim Hersteller fündig und war BEGEISTERT! Worte können die kleinen Kunstwerke gar nicht richtig beschreiben. Zartschmelzend, nicht zu süß, jede Sorte schmeckt anders und man ist jeden Tag aufs Neue verblüfft, was man mit Schokolade so alles machen kann. Die Sorten Tausend Blätternougat, Himbeer und Kokos, Haselnuss Marzipan und ein paar andere kenne ich bereits vom letzten Jahr. Und habe sie dieses Jahr sehr gerne wieder! Besonders gespannt bin auf Yuzu Citrus und auf Ribisel Chili Rock: da wurden die Chocolatiers wieder sehr kreativ! Klingt erst mal ungewohnt, aber ich bin sicher, dass ich wieder absolut von den Socken sein werde. Ich freu mich so!!!
